Be clear as to why you are spending time with me

If you know EXACTLY what it is that you want in the long term and from our sessions, then you will get your results much faster and our time together will be a rewarding one.

Know in advance what you want from me and how to coach you to where you want to be and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

If you say ‘Yes’, mean it!

I can get you to where you want to be. Part of me doing so will involve me making requests of you that you are not used to so if you agree to working with me, you are agreeing to follow what I set you. If for any reason you can’t, you need to tell me there and then, so we can get to your destination via a different path.

Coaching only works when commitments are kept. Remember, these commitments aren’t to me, they are to yourself.

Be willing to test yourself

A phrase I always live by is ‘If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting what you’ve always got’.

It’s true.

If you keep to the same lifestyle, eating what you’ve always eaten and exercising (or not!) the same way, you will stay the way you are. That’s why I’ll ask you to do things differently.

It won’t all be easy but it’ll be much easier if you open up to the fact that you will need to change things. I’m putting it bluntly when I say that what you’ve been doing upto this point hasn’t worked. That’s why you’re here, right? Be willing to try something new and it will pay off in no time!

Be honest with me

Although I’ve helped many people acheive what they’ve set out to acheive, they aren’t you. It’s important to be honest with me and tell me what you think is working, what isn’t working, so I can then change course sooner and we aren’t spending unnecessary time trying to get back to the same route. Unfortunately, I haven’t developed the ability to read minds, although I’m working on it!

Come to the sessions with a winning mind set

Turn up well in time to the sessions, carry out any ‘homework’ that I set for you, pay in advance and make your goal a priority in your life for the duration of our time together.

If you don’t feel like you can do this right now, keep your money and come back when you feel you can. I don’t mean that to sound harsh, I just want to make sure you are ready for what’s ahead and, most of all, that your investment is a good one!
